Thanksgiving Week College Hoops Preview: Tuesday’s Slate

*****editor’s note from mookie bets aka your dad’s favorite blogger****: my boy brandon is here to deliver you the most up-to-date insight in the world of college basketball. although, he doesn’t pick spreads, he will inform you on what he thinks the game will look like. taking a side on this is up to you. god speed, brandon.

Tuesday Games:

#8 Auburn vs #1 Duke, 8pm on ESPN

Spread: Duke -10.5

Best game of the day and it’s not even close. Auburn can flat out shoot the ball, with Bryce Brown and Jared Harper, they have 2 NBA level guards and will be Duke’s first actual test this season. However, we all know about Duke and the plethora of talent they posses. Zion will dunk, and then Zion will dunk some more, letting Duke pull away late.

Duke 81 Auburn 76

Arizona vs #3 Gonzaga, 10:30pm on ESPN

Spread: Gonzaga -10

Arizona lost a lot from last years squad, but don’t write them off quite yet. Last night against Iowa State, the Wildcats were able to decipher the Cyclones zone defense after a lackluster first half to pull away for a 3 point victory. Samford transfer, Justin Coleman, put the cats on his back in the second half for a late game surge and secured the victory.

They matchup with a deep and talented Gonzaga team who although is without their best post player (Killian Tillie), still have productive all-WCC performers in Josh Perkins and sharpshooter Zach Norvell Jr. Game flow will be in the Zags’ favor and they’ll control the game from the tip.

Arizona 73 Gonzaga 88
